To blog or not to blog?

That's been the question on my mind for years, literally YEARS! Self doubt is annoyingly painful. Besides, who wants to hear about how adorable I think my life is, how blessed I know I am and how it can all turn into a train wreck in a matter of minutes just to turn out to be a life lesson in humility? We all look for solidarity and comfort knowing we are not alone in our thoughts and actions.  I know there are other bloggers who have been on the block longer and work it better than I think I can (there's that self doubt again) but here you find me, with my very own blog. Hurray for over coming the self doubt; for all of .2 seconds! To be honest I have been blogging for years just in the form of a diary.

How it all started; strap in, it's a (zzzzzz) doozy of a short story!
Some time ago when I met the most amazing man (foreshadowing here) and I knew right away he was the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with! Since I knew this I wanted our children to know this too. Creepy? Who me, NeVeR! So I began telling The Story Of Us. Over the years my love affair with writing was an on again off again relationship. All for legitimate reasons.
First it was work, then it was marriage, then a long came a baby in a baby carriage. You know the drill. Who has time? Who cares? Well, the truth is, I do. I want Our Story told. I want our kids and grandkids and great grandkids to know how much we love, how much we laugh, how much we sacrifice for the good of each other.  That yes, we do struggle at times, yes, we do argue, but at the end of it all we have faith and we love! And a good sense of humor that goes long way.
So join us as we grow together, have a lot of laughs, and occasionally take a look back at how we got here. (Known as "This Day In Clan History")
Til next time.

  1. Welcome to Bloggyland Tasha! I'm so glad you made it!

    1. Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm feeling silly right about now, like I just made this huge commitment or something. The plan is to have fun with it, so I'm going with that.
